Anti-Poverty Week is being held this week to:
- strengthen understanding of the causes and consequences of poverty;
- encourage research, discussion and action – including action by individuals, communities, organisations and governments.
Everyone is encouraged to help reduce poverty by organising an activity this week or take part in an activity organised by others.
